Novices
Rowing is a fun and exciting sport to try.
As an adult novice, you will learn to row with a coach and other new rowers, as well as experienced rowers who will help you learn and build confidence.
There is no match for being on the lake on Cazenovia's beautiful summer evenings!

Coach Mindy works with novice rowers starting the Tuesday after the June Learn to Row through mid-August. You will watch your confidence soar as you go from a novice rower just learning the basics to someone who may even want to try racing in the fall! Coaching will focus on technical skills in the boat, body mechanics, and personal growth. We'll learn while having fun, all while enjoying the beauty of Cazenovia Lake.
The Cazenovia Rowing Club operates under the approval of the Town of Cazenovia.
A copy of the Town of Cazenovia's Resolution for the Use of a Portion of Gypsy Bay Park
is supplied annually to the CRC membership.
