Scholastic Programs

 

Spring Program - Ages 14 to 18 (High School) One season rowing experience required

Dates: March 16 to May 14 (Parents meeting will be Wednesday March 11, at 7:00pm in the Community Room at the Cazenovia Library.)
Times: Dryland - Tues, Thurs, Fri 5:30 - 7:30 PM until we get on the water (April 13?) then weekday afternoon_ Monday throught Friday) : 4:30 - 6:30 PM
Fee: $300 plus annual membership fee (race fees will be included)
Format: aerobic conditioning, strength training, and preparation for the spring sprint regattas

Summer Mornings - Ages 14 to 18 (High School)

Dates: June 29 to Aug 22
Times: Weekday mornings 7am – 9am
Fee: $250 plus annual membership fee (race fees, if any, not included)
Format: coaching stresses more advanced techniques, conditioning, race strategies and tactics

Summer Camp – Ages 10 to 14 (Middle school)

Dates:

  • Session 1: July 13 - 17
  • Session 2: July 20 - 24
  • Session 3: July 27 - 31

Times: Weekday mornings, 9am – 12am
Fee: $180 per session; includes Tee Shirt. Two sessions - $350, all three sessions - $500
Format: Introduction to rowing, learning the basics, terms, techniques and teamwork. Develop our future rowers. Fun race on Friday! Bring bathing suits.

Fall Competitive - Ages 12 to 18 - All levels of experience and skill

Dates: Aug 24 to October 28 (7 weeks)
Times: Monday through Friday evenings: 4:30pm to 7:00pm

Fee: $350 grades 9-12, $300 grades 7-8(includes regatta fees) plus annual membership fee.

Format: Refinement on techniques, drills fitness, racing strategy and tactics and conditioning. Focus will be on attending 4 regattas:
